Are you fatigued? Do you need a day apart, a break from ministry? Jesus took breaks away for prayer, silence, and reflection. TARRP (Town and Rural Resource Program) has designed a day of learning, silence, and experiences to renew, revive, and re-fill you for relevant ministry. Our Revive & Renew for Relevant Ministry will be September 30, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Camp Wesley, north of Bellefontaine, OH.
Retreats are for setting aside time with God, and that’s exactly what we will be doing! The day will begin with Phil White, Dir. of Camp Wesley, sharing why we retreat. Our musical worship will be led by Rev. Stephen Rath, with Rev. Dr. Jan Yandell preaching. Our lead speaker will be Rev. Dr. Brenda Buckwell, and after each of her two sessions, we will have time for reflection. We will have 3 break-out group times. Each participant may choose 3 of 10 workshops to deepen their spiritual practices and enjoy a truly spiritfilled day of refreshment. In addition, you may arrive on Friday to rest, hike, fish, and sit by the lake. Dinner will be by the campfire and we will end our time Friday at Vesper Hill. Download the brochure attached below or call Debbie Ketcham at 614-580-2382 for more information. Space is limited to 100. Plese Register by September 17.
What is TARRP?
Town and Rural Resource Programming is a consortium of clergy from East and West Ohio Conferences dedicated to providing educational opportunities and ministry enhancement programs to town and country congregations across the state of Ohio. TARRP’s mission is to create workshops, academies, and trainings that develop stronger leadership in town, country, and rural places, to create more effective proclamation, nurture, outreach, care, and equipping for the transformation of the world in Jesus’s name. TARRP trainings are offered to you at a greatly reduced cost, offset by your apportionment dollars through East and West Ohio Conferences.
