This summer, Superintendent Scot Ocke is challenging us to read and think about the unconventional but popular message of the recent movie and book, The Shack.
The Shack pushes many of us to consider some of the most important question of our faith. For example:
- How do we deal with our sadness?
- Where is the justice in the world?
- How can we grow our faith?
- Why can't I be the judge?
How do I forgive and be forgiven?
You may want to form a small clergy group, or a Sunday school class to discuss the book, movie or messages. All are excellent material to challenge and strengthen our faith. Please note: The messages were originally written using the first book release. There have been several releases since, therefore the page numbers may have changed.
