Gathering faith-based information about the community your church serves can provide significant help in reaching people for Jesus Christ. Now, that information is just a mouse click away ...and it has already been paid for by your apportionments! Check out link2lead.com provided at no additional cost to you by The Conference Connectional Ministries Office and your District! Link2Lead.com provides the latest information about your community, hands-on tools to better understand and develop your own capabilities and a variety of additional resources to assist you in leading your congregation into the new world of opportunities awaiting us in the 21st century.

Ready to get started?

Just head to link2lead.com where you will be asked if this is your first visit. Click on the "click here" link and you will arrive at the Welcome page.
Review the Welcome page then click "Getting Oriented." This provides you with a snapshot of the six helpful areas in which link2lead is organized. At the bottom of this page, simply click "Register."
Following a brief introductory statement, you can begin to register for this free service by choosing "click here." At this page you will identify your United Methodist denomination and the West Ohio Conference.
Next, select your church's city and name from a handy pre- typed list. This will automatically take you to a brief form where you will provide information such as name and e-mail address. At the bottom of the form, just click "Register" and you will be ready to use the link2lead site!

All six areas in which link2lead is organized are full of great information. For example, in the My Community section you can explore the latest demographic information for your ministry area. The My Congregation section allows you to compare your congregation with the larger community you serve. The My Self section provides an opportunity to find out how you deal with change and the type of leader you are. In addition to providing vital statistics for healthy ministry, link2lead.com offers insight into resources for vision and mission. From the "ichange" and "ileadtype" surveys to the one-minute U.S. trends reports in the "QuickInsight" link, there's something for everyone.

Percept

The Conference has signed a new three year contract with Percept (of which Link2Lead is a part). The demographic notebooks our office has created and distributed to most Maumee Watershed District churches has some additional demographic information about the focal areas Percept has designated near your church. If you have not received a demographic/statistical notebook from our office, please contact Casey Smith at the district office.

If you want even more targeted and detailed demographic information about the area around your church, Percept can create a Ministry Area Profile (MAP) with custom criteria. The cost for a MAP starts at $150.00. Contact Casey Smith at the district office if you are interested in purchasing one.
