Church Ministry Budget

keep your friends
Rev. Scot Ocke , Lead Pastor , Maumee UMC
Jesus said that sometimes the reason we don’t have is because we don’t ask. Sometimes we don’t have the financial resources in our churches because we don’t ask or know how to ask our people for the monies we need. How do we ask? How do we begin to do stewardship campaigns that help us grow financially and do the ministries God needs us to do in our community? How do we create strategic budgets to do as much ministry and as little maintenance as possible?

Growing a Servant’s Heart in
Children, Youth & Families
PM ONLY (afternoon)
Jay Miklovic , Director of Youth Ministry, Maumee UMC,
Kristin Miklovic , Assistant Director of Children & Families, Maumee UMC, & Rev. Joanie Schilling , Minister of Children & Families , Maumee UMC
What if children and youth learned from a young age that mission work is not just something we do as Christ followers, but it is at the heart of who we are. In an age of selfishness, Christ calls us to live differently than the world. Jesus came not to be served but to serve. The church needs to instill a servant’s heart at an early age. Participants will learn age-appropriate service/mission ideas, how we can involve children in missions more easily if it is done as family ministry and hear about a vital youth ministry that is mission-centered. “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40). Join us as we strive to make this passage a reality in the lives of our children, youth and families guiding them to go and be the hands and feet of Christ!
