Friday, April 22, 2016 - 5:30pm to Saturday, April 23, 2016 - 5:00pm
Sponsored by MWD Lay Servant Ministry Committee
In this course we examine the concept of the household of God, the importance of Scripture as divine revelation, Wesleyan understandings of grace, and the importance of the class leader in the development of the Methodist movement. We explore a systematic (some might say, methodical) approach for undertaking the challenge of personal discipleship for one's life. Participants are further encouraged to assess their own faith community and see how well it reflects a genuine Christian community, and determine how developing leaders can transform the life of their congregation.
Led by Tony and Barb Lane, Maumee United Methodist Church.
Barb serves as the MWD Lay Servant Ministry Chairperson
This course is considered an Advanced Course and may be used to fulfill the required refresher course for local church lay servants.
