Urban Mission Project
Friday, May 30, 2014 - 12:00pm to Friday, October 31, 2014 - 12:00pm

Are you looking for a mission experience for your youth?

Are you on a limited budget?

Are you new to developing and structuring such an event?

Would you like your youth to meet other youth from our

district, and serve in a connectional way?

If you answered “YES” to any of these questions…

The Urban Mission Project of St. Paul's UMC in downtown Toledo is hosting a district youth mission trip.  Youth will gather at Monroe St. UMC and reside there from June 21- June 27.  They will work with the Friendly Center (mission of the UMC) on a project during the morning hours, and then switch gears and help lead a Vacation Bible School at Monroe St. in the evening.   St. Paul's will coordinate with the youth leaders, help with any hospitality issues, and work with the youth at the site, and during the VBS with other church members from Monroe St.
The cost is minimal:  $ 100 per youth for mission supplies,  cost of room, and meals.  We will serve dinner as part of VBS, the youth will brown bag lunch, and breakfast will be served at the church.  Friday afternoon the youth will have the opportunity to do something fun together there may be a minimal cost.  More details on the event, registration forms, and other information is available through the St. Paul's Web-site at stpaulsumctoledo.com
Please feel free to also call Pastor Mary Sullivan at 419-243-8284 if you have questions.
