Wauseon Zion UMC 150th Anniversary

The Zion United Methodist Church, Wauseon, OH, will be celebrating its sesquicentennial on Sunday, September 16, to commemorate 150 years of ministry.   The church is located east of Wauseon, OH on Fulton Co. Rd. 11 between Co. Rds. D and E, 2 ½ miles south of Alt. U.S. 20 (Airport Hwy.).

The celebration will begin at 9:30 AM with the Sunday School hour.  The worship service will begin at 10:30 AM.  The morning message will be presented by the Rev. Dr. Scot Ocke, District Superintendent of the Maumee Watershed District of the United Methodist Church. 

Following the worship service, there will be a potluck meal including barbequed chicken and pulled pork and homemade ice cream.  At 1:30 PM, there will be a program with time for commemorating the 150 year ministry of the church and sharing highlights and memories of the history of the church.  There will also be kids’ games during the afternoon. Everyone is invited to join us for the full day of celebration or any part of the day.  For more information, please contact Pastor Don Krieger at 419-583-9586.
