Our 2018 Freedom School is adding one more class!  This means 10 more young people lives impacted through our Maumee Watershed District-Monroe Street Neighborhood Center Freedom School partnership.  Most of the $1000 scholarships come from our MWD congregations!  Some congregations give $250, some $500 and others one or more full scholarships.  What we each give makes a difference in these children’s lives.  Last year, 90% of the children in our Freedom School... continue reading

This month, consider putting $1 aside for each cup of coffee you drink or choose to give up. Then take this money and put it towards the Friendly Center’s program funding for children and adults. The flyer attached below can be printed for your congregation, displayed, or wrapped around an empty coffee can (then use the coffee can to collect). At the end of February, send you money to the Friendly Center.
